Mavericks agree to trade with Knicks for Kristaps Porzingis

ESPN — The Dallas Mavericks have agreed to a trade with the New York Knicks for All-Star forward Kristaps Porzingis, league sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday

The Knicks and Mavericks have scheduled a trade call with the league office to finalize the deal, sources told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne.

The trade also includes the Knicks sending Courtney Lee and Tim Hardaway Jr. to the Mavericks in return for Wesley MatthewsDennis Smith Jr. and DeAndre Jordan, league sources told Wojnarowski. The deal may also include draft assets, sources said.

WOW.  Did Mark Cuban do it again?  First, he got Dirk – who has been a stud for the Mavs for about 2 decades and now he gets Dirk 2.0!  Between Porzingis and Luka, this Dallas team will be good in a year or two!

I think people forget just how good the Unicorn is and I do not think that the ACL injury will be career changing for him.  I expect him to come back and tear up the NBA and next year you can mark my words, the Mavs will be good again!
